Most conversations about psychedelic healing begin with the medicine. This one begins with the breath.
Long before any journey starts, the body is already speaking. It has been keeping score of every protection it learned, every moment it braced, every time it held its breath and waited to see if it was safe. Psychedelics can open that record wide — flooding us with memory, emotion, insight, and sensation. But an open door is not the same as a crossing. What determines whether an experience becomes lasting change, or simply a memorable night, is the nervous system that has to receive it.
Rachel Flower has spent more than 30 years learning how that nervous system listens. Drawing on her training in Psychedelic Somatic Interactive Psychotherapy and Somatic Experiencing, decades of breathwork and sound practice, and her own passage through Stage 4 cancer, she offers a body-first understanding of psychedelic healing — one where integration isn’t something you think your way into, but something your body learns to live.
Together we’ll explore:
This is not a talk about substances. It is a talk about the living ground that healing grows in — breath, body, and resonance — and about how guides, practitioners, and seekers alike can learn to become that ground for themselves and for one another.
Come curious. Come as a practitioner, an explorer, or someone still carrying an experience that hasn’t fully landed. You’ll leave with a clearer map, a few practices you can use the next morning, and perhaps a new respect for the part of you that was present the whole time.
